‘This Is Kerala’s Jallikkattu Movement’ Rahul Easwar Talks Exclusively To Aajtak

As protests against women entry in Sabarimala boil over in Pampa, Rahul Easwar talked to Aajtak’s Mausami Singh. Rahul claimed that the Sabarimala protests are Kerala’s Jallikkattu movement and hoped that the review petition on October 22nd will be favourable for the protesters.

It’s a historic day for Sabarimala Temple as the gates of the temple will be reopening today for the first time after the Supreme Court’s verdict allowing permission for women of all ages to enter the temple. Meanwhile, protests against the verdict have been mounting with several instances of violence being reported around Sabarimala. The protesters have formed small groups alongside the main highway leading to the temple and are checking each and every vehicle for any women.
