Janeal has dedicated her time, both paid and unpaid, to creating connections that improve quality of life. In her roles as Development Director, board member and volunteer she has secured numerous “wins” creating the right connections with the right partners advancing important community initiatives. Under her direction, more than $50 million has been secured in government, foundation, corporate and individual sources for charitable organizations. Janeal received her Bachelors of Sociology and Masters of Public Administration from the University of Utah and is a Certified Fund Raising Executive.
Janeal enjoys volunteering and has served in a variety of settings with notable involvement with the Utah Recreation Therapy Association, Salt Lake County Homeless Coordinating Council, the Junior League of Salt Lake City, and Southern Utah Nonprofits Association Committee. She is currently an active member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals San Diego Chapter, San Diego County Citizen’s Scholarship Foundation and Women Give San Diego. Janeal grew up in the state of Utah and has made San Diego her home for the past two years. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her two Beagles, finding new and exciting adventures with friends and visiting her 24 year old daughter, Cassandra, in Salt Lake City.
